APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify an EVS Aide Location:New Orleans, LA 70121 Position:EVS Aide Pay Rate: $ 12.65/hr Duration: 12 weeks -temp to perm Expected Shift:Varied Shifts/ Weekend availability Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30) Job Details: This job cleans and services areas such as guest, patient, public, clinical and administrative areas. Responsible for maintaining a clean and aseptic environment. Detail oriented, physically capable to walk up & down stairwells all day. Job Duties Must work rotating weekends and holidays Maintains assigned area in a clean and aseptic manner. Maintains Environmental closet and equipment in a clean, aseptic and orderly manner. Assists with special cleaning projects and room turnover. Follows all current Joint Commission / CMS regulations pertaining to Environment of Care and Cleaning requirements. Knowledge in housekeeping cleaning procedure and housekeeping equipment Possible Area Assigned: Dietary, EUA, Performance Improvement, Parking Office, Atrium, Philanthropy, Library, Respiratory, Hospital Position, Stairwells, Discharge Team, Gift Shop, Optical, 2nd/3rd Floor, Outpatient Pharmacy, North Campus PRN, ED Work Experience: Required - Ability to read, write and speak / understand verbal communication in English in order to follow instructions and perform daily tasks Preferred- 1 year relevant experience.
